    What size tent do I need?

The size of tent you need is determined by what you plan to use it for. IE; ceremony, cocktail reception, buffet reception, etc.. Then how much space do you have. Use the sizing information to determine how much square footage you need for your event. Then with the space you have decide what size tents you need. Always check you calculation with one of the Confetti staff.

    How is the tent secured to the ground?

If the tent is on soft ground we use 3 ft steel spikes that are attach to the tents with guide lines that are set approximately 6 feet from the base of the leg. If heavy weights are required there is a extra charge.

    Can someone come to the event site and measure?

It is best to have one of the Confetti staff do a site inspection to determine your needs. You usually get more then just yes or no about the tent. This service is an excellent way to start your event planning. Cost $45 in the South Surrey Area. Ask for quotes to your area.

    Does the tent come with walls?

Walls for all tents are extra. There is a variety of walls available. Book your walls well in advance of your event.

    Who sets the tents up?

We have a crew to set-up and take-down the tents.

    What other costs are there with the tents?

Delivery, taxes (13% on the rentals and tent delivery), and whether or not the site is accessible by our trucks. Delivery Prices

    When do I have to reserve rentals?

Reserve tents and other rentals before someone else. As soon as your ready to book anything, book it. There is always a limited supply to rental items in the peak seasons. If your event is big book earlier. "Book it before someone else books it and you'll be fine".

    How do I reserve a tent or other rentals?

We require a 50% deposit on all tent rental.  Cancellations must be in writing 6 month before your event. With the balance due 1 week before your event. All tenting, staging and dance floors are subject to a 100% cancellation charge within two weeks of delivery.

    What security deposit do you require?

We require a valid Visa or MasterCard number with a signed contract stating that the renter and the card holder authorizing us to us their credit card to recoup lost or damage items and rental income. See our contract terms and conditions.

    Do I have to wash the dishes?

Your rentals will arrive clean and ready to use. When items are returned or pick-up they should be scraped clear of food and repacked in the containers we have provided.

    What an I responsible for?

The renter is responsible for any lost, stolen, missing or damage rental item or shipping containers. The renter is also responsible for any lost rental income to Confetti due to lost, stolen, missing, damaged or late returned rental items.

    How long do I have the tent?

The length of the rental is determined at the time of rental booking. IE: If the event is on Saturday and the site is private property, then we like to setup Wednesday or Thursday and take-down Monday or Tuesday. The delivery schedule is made up at the beginning of the week. If the tent is on public property then special arrangements must be made and exact time delivery charges apply.

    How long do I have the rentals?

The rental period is determined at the time of booking. We make every effort to ensure that you have adequate time for pre event preparations and clean up.

    Is there extra charges for having the rentals longer?

Yes please check with the Confetti staff at time of booking for pricing.

    How does delivery and pick-up work?

This service must be booked in advance. The charge is determined by the location and time. Deliveries and pick-ups are made to a level location accessible to our trucks. If you know that the delivery will be around back of a building or up a flight of stairs, then make arrangements at the time of booking to avoid any costly charges. Delivery and Pickup

    How does delivery and pick-up times work?

Delivery and pick-up times are not exact. We try to give a 5 hour window of times for these services. If exact times are required we have to charge extra. If deliveries are after hours or on holidays then there is an extra charge. If there is no one at the site to meet the delivery driver arrangements for a safe place to leave the items must be made in advance, (the renter is always responsible for the items safety).     Do you set-up the tables and chairs?

We have this service available but it must be booking in advance. If the drivers arrive at the site and this service was not booked in advance, there is an extra charge. Please have all chairs and tables stacked in a predetermined location, and all other rental items repacked in there original containers and ready for pick-up.

     Why do you ask for my personal information?

The items we rent can be very expensive and we need away to insure the whereabouts of the renter. Please read our Privacy Information page

    Do you have insurance?

We are currently offering "Damage Waiver", Which will cover the renter up to $250 of accidental damage. We have had a number of renters upset when a guest at their party dropped a rack of glasses while trying to help. 25 glasses at $4 each can be a very upsetting price tag. The "Damage Waiver" will start being automatically applied in December 2008. The renter can always decline the "Damage Waiver" but must indicate on the contracted their intentions.
